In developing countries, Governments, Donors, NGOs and other stakeholders are implementing projects that include agricultural development and income generation to promote food security and sustainable development.
Governments and local authorities are also implementing health reforms intended to achieve specific targets in line with Millennium Development Goals and other global strategies.
Jimat carries out Nutrition and Health surveys to:
- assess the impact of development projects on the nutrition and health status of beneficiary communities in rural and urban areas;
- Assess the impact of health sector reforms and other related policies on the nutrition and health status of relevant populations; and
- Assess the performance of health sector wide approaches (SWAPs) in line with the key indicators set.
